They certainly have, think the one that was on Guntrader for £3500 was a bit steep.......... was very happy with what I got for mine, of course the recent purchases have left no change but well worth it.

Those sights are mechanically rather unsatisfactory and rather vulnerable to damage.

Gary its not a hard fix, certainly not too fiddly for yourself..... take the top screw out on the rear of the top of the ladder, slide off aperture part and expand the sight ladder I knocked up a Heath Robertson type of jig to straighten one..... going by the picture the left side is the culprit (obvious caused by a knock on the aperture, at least they took notice for future trials rifles)

You need to expand it using something other than the opposite side of the ladder, only needs a slight leverage...

For anyone looking at the pic in post #15 you can see clearly the sight pin retaining pin, on the damaged side. This is what some folk fail to realise and believe that the pin just unscrews due the screw driver slot on the face of the pin, which is only used for alignment of the holes for the retaining pin.

If the Aperture is in a bad way and can't be straightened then I,ve a spare one but will need the spring from your old one.

I've never purchased a rifle to make a quick profit out of it, but it is nice to know the value of my small collection is appreciating, if my family choose to dispose of it in the future. It also helps to justify expenditure on further items with my wife!

Hoping one or both of my sons decide to take up shooting and collecting. In the meantime I will enjoy finding a few more pieces and look after what I have for them.
