If you look right next to the rear sight staking , those marks you see are type 1 rear sight stake marks . This rifle was originally fitted with a type 1 flip sight so that type 2 sight is not original . Looks like a nice rebuild that retained some of its original parts .

I recently took my Rock-ola out and I ran 75 rounds of Monarch 30 carbine. It shot very well! I was pleasantly surprised on how accurate it is. I can't wait to take it out again. What a wonderful rifle. I only had issues with one 15 round WW2 magazine. I think the magazine spring is weak. Other than that it was perfect!

Look at the front of the front sight. You'll probably find the markings there.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

It might be worth it to verify the spring is installed correctly in the magazine that gave you issues. Make sure the long side of the spring is at the back of the magazine. I've found a couple in the past put in backwards.

I have already checked the spring. It is in correct. It is the magazine that came with the rifle. It is just a weak spring.
Thanks for the reply brother.

Should I be looking for a stock, hand guard, barrel band and rear sight to correct my carbine?

That could be another $500+ invested.
