Aussies: 174gn .311 Hollow Point Flat Based projectiles
Hello Everyone,
Not sure if this has been posted before but I have come across these projectiles. The prices listed on the price list are POSTAGE INCLUDED in Australia
.
They are very similar to the old Taipan 174gn FB projectile.
I haven't tested any yet. Some mates and myself will be getting a few soon and testing them.
The sample I have looks very nice!

that's got to be the first price list i've ever seen where it's cheaper to buy by 100 (.46c each) than by 420(.50.01c each)...

It is cheaper to post a 100 than 500 given aussie posts charges

Do they (would they) export to professional gun shops in Europe?

Do not know how big their operation is may only be tooled up enough to satisfy local demand plus the price of freight overseas may see the price balloon to Seirra prices or more

True, it's not the lightest of stuff to post. Sierra's are available here, as are Sellier Bellot in 180 grain boat tails. The SB's are probably half the price of Sierra's, and it is seen in the quality control of the weight. But the SB's shoot quite well, especially if you buy a load of them and then weigh them out into similar loads. (Out of 100 ogives, only 9 were exactly 180 grains)

My rifle club, QMRC, has bought these projectiles from The Bullet Factory and I have used 20 through my No4 Mk1* and No5 Mk1. I'm getting better groups with these than the 174 gn Sierra Match Kings I bought at Cleavers when they were selling the boxes of 500.
The website is The Bullet Factory

Sounds promising - iHanso, have you or any other your club members happened to have measured and weighed a few by chance? - just to confirm uniformity of .311 and 174Grn
