    First Gewehr 43

Probably the last too....can't justify this kind of purchase again....or so I say!

Bolt carrier and bolt are mismatched to receiver. Receiver matches stock. Stock is in outstanding shape, appears to have never been sanded at all. Have installed a shooters kit from Apfeltor, hopefully will shoot it tomorrow. Going to go sell plasma now to make up for this crazy *** purchase!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Cool

    43s are fun to shoot!
I have hunted deer & coyotes with one for the past 60+ yrs.
    I also collect them, I currently have 15 or 20 G & K 43s with scopes & mounts on 4 or 5.
