Hey all, nice to see the new forum up and running well. I've got myself a demilled barrel and receiver combo that i'm restoring for a WWII display rifle, wondering if anyone can help me out. Would someone be able to take some measurements, firstly, of their barrel, from tip to toe, or if it's on the receiver, from the tip (muzzle end) to the front lip that holds the handgaurd, on the receiver. And secondly, a measurement from the same lip, down the side of the receiver, to the back of it, but not including the lip for the recoil plate. If you could also grab another one from the lip side, but the bottom edge, just under the barrel threads, and down the side to the back face again, would be incredibly grateful Just want to restore this thing to it's previous guise, i don't know why on earth people ever demill these things to begin with, they should be in museums.
Cheers and happy shooting
