To get the name and town of the person who bought the rifle through the DCM you must first subscribe to the U. S. Martial Arms Collector magazine which cost $35 for one year. That gets you four quarterly issues. Then you can pay $65.00 additional to SRS to get a letter telling to whom the rifle was sold and a copy of the original sales record card. The cost of the letter and copy of the sales record is well worth the money to me. I have SRS letters on all the NRA Sporters and 1922 Series Springfields I own.

You can do a search to get the address of Springfield Research Service (SRS).
