Site Raffles ?

I'm currently updating my Personal Profile settings.

There are 3 boxes to fill out that pertain to Site Raffle Participation, to which it is noted this information is kept Private.

1: Phone number
2: Pay Pal Email address
3: Shipping address

Question is... What are these Raffles ?
I've never noticed any that I recall.

Anyone able to add a bit of knowledge to this ?
