Its what we pay for! 19 minutes of joy. I never really knew the difference between a gun maker and a gunsmith until recently. Both are incredible. I know of a gunsmith that was trained by a Holland and Holland gun maker. The file is the human milling machine he said today as I dropped off something that I botched trying to file. The scope Colin sent me. He said he can fix it.
Posted here because well , Holland and Holland is timeless.

Sadly Jack has since passed away, I have watched allot of his vid's and his working knowledge of fine English weapons and how to fabricate stuff from raw product is worth it alone it would pale allot of fellows in the world today. Enjoy.....
Impressive video. It's good to see that true craftsmen are still around in this mass produced throw away world. Their patience and eye for detail and precise fit is truly admirable.
I would love to see the old smith/maker that taught Jack his trade,, doing his thing. That would be something. Ellwood Epps here in Ontario has older SXS going for $70,000. Genius!
Those double rifles and shotguns in the H&H video are true works of art. The craftsmanship exhibited in their making is astounding. It's almost like watching Michaelangelo creating the Pieta.
