    Just picked this French Rifle up. Model 1884

    Just picked this up. Frenchicon model 1884 dated 1885. Cant find much out about it. Is it Rare, common? Any info helpful. Sorry for the poor pictures.

    It's a Frenchicon Mle 1884 Gras-Kropatschek unless I am mistaken, though I am no expert on French firearms.

    "...Mle 1884 Gras-Kropatschek..." Yep. I'm guessing St. Etienne. Can't quite make it out in the picture. The 'More" link at the bottom works. More and more detailed pictures.
