    Need help with M1922 Bolt

    All
I have this bolt that was extra with my M1922. Any idea why this would have been in the box with a rearsenaled/upgraded early M1922.The bolt in the rifle is serial numbered to the rifle. Would anyone have a need for it and if so I will part with it.
    Thanks

Your bolt is a model 1922M2 not a M1922. M1922 has a dual firing pin striker. At one time they were very plentiful as surplus. Numrich used many in their .22 cal conversion for M1903 / A3 rifles.

These bolts are perfect to convert a low number rifle with a bad bore to 22 rim fire with a nice barrel liner. There are a few gunsmiths doing this conversion
and they can be quite accurate (I know as I have one)

On my project list! Would love a Rock Island with the script style font with this conversion.
