All of my good tools are out in storage. It may be the other side of the weekend before I can access them. I measured the firing pin length overall (crudely) at 6 13/16 " (173.038 mm) The actual "pin" is 1.5", or(38.1 mm) Measured from the top of the shoulder to the tip.
This closely approximates the Steyr firing pin.
As it is now, I can't fit the bolt head to the bolt. If I place the bolt in the cocked position, I can slide the bolt head all the way on, but even then I have.030 protrusion.
I will try to post pics after I figure out why the wifi is imitating dial up. Stay tuned.
