Thank you for all the time and effort you have put in to contributing on here. As a younger collector it means a lot.
I wish you all the best, and that you enjoy what time you have left.

Jim, there's often not enough deserving words to say in a situation like yours, but thank you and I wish you only the best in the time you have left with us.

Jim, in this day an age of fake parts and dishonest intentions, it was truly my pleasure to deal with you. You are a rare bird when it comes to honesty and integrity.
Thank you for your service to our country. It is greatly appreciated.

The Moderator
Well known long before he came here, he was a perfect choice.
It was 4-12-12 when Jim stepped in here as a Moderator. Firm, helpful, knowledgeable and rarely hung over. Respected by all especially those who came to know him off line. Bit of a Curmudgeon at times... but no one is perfect. He could have played Max the part Walter Matthau played in the movie Grumpy Old Men, but Matthau worked for minimum wage.
Some of you may not have known but Jim is a collectaholic, guns, knives, razors, coins, slot cars, tin foil, Barbies...... etc.
We owe him our sincere Thanks as we do all of our veterans. I look forward to him taking time for himself now. He's the man we know because of a gal he met back in 1966. I still picture them sitting on their back deck. Her sitting in her rocking chair ankle deep in cedar shavings as she whittled away on a continuous linked chain with a trace of Redman creeping down toward her chin and Jim with sun block on his nose kneeling in his gardening apron pruning his roses and daisies. They sure looked happy and I'm sure they will enjoy many more good times together.
So Jim,
Promise us you'll pop in every now and then to keep in touch. Like if the wife beats that Breaking and Entering thing and if your neighbor figures it out that your the one throwing the dog crap over in to his yard.
God Bless Buddy
Charlie
