1903A3 Remington Feeding Problems
Unfortunately my 1903A3 has feedíng problems. Every 2nd round is not reached by the bolt during the operation, the bolt closes without pushing the round in to the chamber. As shown on the enclosed picture, the bottom of the round is too low in the magazine bay and that is why the bolt cann`t reach bottom of the round.
Does anybody have an idea how the repair it? I will be happy about all imput.
Many thanks in advance!

Short stroking the bolt? I've chambered some non existent rounds in rapid fire.

Is the cutoff in the "ON" or "OFF" position?

From the picture it looks as if your bolt is not rearward enough, I see the cut off is on so I would check cut off assembly operation or bolt issue ?

Bolt is rearward enough. The round is not high enough to be reached by the front part of the bolt.

Every second round? Problem is on that side of the action or magazine. Eyeball that side of the action and magazine, with the round in, to see where the obstruction/problem is.
Is this a new problem?
