I'm working on a Rockola stock that someone weirdly sanded spots on. I took 180 to the areas to dress them down, then used some alcohol stains to blend coloration. Now the issue is that the rest of the stock has more sheen and appears waxy due to 76 years of buildup compared to the areas I worked. I hit the spots once with BLOicon but what about pure TUNG oil? Will that add some thickness/build up for waxiness?
