Local gun show, this one vendor had 2 non-matching U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, Model of 1917s, priced at $1,595.00, acting righteously proud of them...They were mix=masteThe "R" rec. had a "W" bbl, "E" stock, no cartouches, the other was an"E" rec., with a "JA" bbl. I figured M1917s would go up in price upon their 100th birthday, but DAMN!!! Any info will help...
