    Russiaicon only declared war on Japanicon in the last days of the war, and only then so they could grab the small Islands they wanted north of the main islands as well as invade Manchuko (part of Manchuria) which they also wanted.

    This is an extremely interesting read about the plans of an invasion of Japanicon, and the expected casualties.
    The purple hearts produced for this operation have been used until a few years ago, so many they were.
    They “covered” the need for a few wars...
