It's probably more a case of lacking experience in the specific firearm.
I'm sure one of my friends suggested the source of the problem to me, and I didn't believe him based on the fact the the firing pin set off cartridges, and ejected properly when "dry firing".
FYI the MAB Model "D" also uses a 1910/1922 compatible firing pin.Information
