The finish is aftermarket. They were usually blued.
Nice pistol BTW.

I have imported a few in to the UK and they have all been blued, they normally have a spare magazine with them as well.

I figured the finish was too nice to be original. But I think it sure makes for an agreeable looking piece.
Kind of like a dark, charcoal-grey parkerizing.

Nice, nice, nice...now to warm it up and smooth that finish up a bit. A quick thousand ought to help. Wish I was closer, I just happen to have a box of just about that amount...nice pistol.

Usually use and cleaning will smooth out new Parkerising over time. I wouldn't do anything 'aggressive' to it.

Smoothing the finish? Daily carry and lots of holster use and lots of shooting should be more than enough
