ERA P14 Markings and other Info

Just recently picked up a nice P14. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on some of the markings that the rifle has. I know basic history of the Pattern Enfields however i would love to learn more. The rifle appears to be matching as far as i can tell which is really cool.

Any help would be appreciated! Check out the pics below!

The royal cypher (GR = George Rex = George V) over the two crossed flags, over the P is the Britishicon Proof Mark.

The Broad Arrow (/!\) is the Acceptance Mark (Ownership).

The star or asterisk (*) = Mark I* rifle.

ERA = The manufacturer: Remington Arms Co. of Delaware, Eddystone.

2 = modification in cartridge feed ramp.

    Nice rundown.

The Europeans do cooler proof marks than we do that is for sure.
