I just bought 4 surplus stocks from J&G to play around with and was surprised to find the M marked one. It is in decent shape, not bad at all for $24.99.

    Thx Again Wayne,
I believe I had a P-J that was busted up that I used for patch wood on a SC-B Stock, years back.

    Appreciated !

    Jim,
This is going to make me sound Lazy, but I have 2, One is Double IP boxed stamped. Problem is they are with other boxed stocks at the end on my bunker.
I've told Jack P to give me to later this Spring until I have room to pull Carbines out to check on them and look those over for the Receiver / Bolt Proof Punch marks. I was pretty sure (99%) being Irwin made that they'd be a 1 hole.

I had 3 of the IR-IP from that bulk purchase but sold one that was warped. But never recall looking or thinking about the holes back then.

Thx Buddy you saved me a ton of time and a chewing from the Wife ! She doesn't realize how much is in there. Collections from generations of family members.

Understood! Now that I have a "complete set " of both carbines and M3 trench knives, I'm going to have to be very careful and discrete if I bring home any variants or line outs. One by each maker just isn't enough. I already have 2 NPMs and 2 Inlands in the carbine group and a couple of Utica and Imperial M3 variants as well as all variants of the Case M3s. And I'm afraid I might get hooked on M4 bayonets too since I already have the A.C.C. , AERIAL and Case. Plus I'm up to 4 Garands....
