    Lithgow Bolt/Body Assemby Numbers

    Does anyone know when Lithgowicon started the assembly number system on the bolt and body flat?

    Thanks, my 1918 body, 1919 barrel III* has "L" assembly prefix. Obviously, my 1916 lacks the assembly so I assumed it was somewhere in between, but it best to ask the experts!
