Thanks Jim. I remember seeing them in the 70s and 80s when I had more time to go to the gun shows. As a collector of military service weapons, I enjoy finding the first version/iteration of weapon. The G41 was Germanyicon's first "Garandicon" and I find it is not as awkward as many shooters claim. Yes, I do understand that I would not want to clean it while on the Eastern Front. However, the rate of rife and accuracy seems good enough for 100-200 yards. Next on the list of "firsts," the SVT-38. Randy

    Good Morning,

Mixed luck this morning at the range. PPU did NOT cycle and Eastern Euro surplus, perhaps newer Yugoicon, cycled two rounds and jammed. Rob Applegate was able to put 20 rounds through with no issues. His solution is to use 1950s Yugo which was just ordered, as he uses 1939 Germanicon! Now might be a good time to find some Turk ammo and really get some gas moving. One more month to get this baby running. Randy
