    Obviously each arm of service accepted large batches of rifles from each factory at any given time, but it's not a given that they were all from distinct serial number blocks, although by default its quite likely many were in the same serial blocks if they were taken straight from the production line.
    Obviously, if you were to see a few other rifles with serial numbers close to yours that were say all Heer stamped it's quite probable that yours would also have been Heer stamped etc., but not a 100% certainty.
