    M-65 H&R Reising

I picked up this late serial number M-65 at a local show. I looked on the web but other than Dave Alberts site there is very little information on these 22’s, especially the very late serial numbers like this one. I assume it has been refinished as it is not parked and the stock has a plastic verse metal buttplate. It still retains a Redfield 70 sight and there are no extra holes drilled in the receiver. It was cheap so I decided not to pass. Anyone have any information on these late 18k serial number rifles. It is not military marked in any manner that I could find but that’s correct from what I’ve read. Regards.

Looks good though, now you need a pile of mags for it.

Roger that, I only have the one that came with it. I guess I need 5 total for each box of shells. Basic load?

As many as you can round up. Load them at home so you don't chill your hands on the range.

Marlin model 56 or 89C mags will work. Bought mine from gunpartscorp.com
