Single shot K31 with welded on 1" German scope mounts
Hi,
I would be most grateful for any help, as I know nothing about Swiss
rifles. I have what can only be described as a very unique rifle it's a K31 Barrelled action with matching bolt in 7.5 x 55, it has High-quality german scope mounts all welded on with 4 Tack points each, looks like its been MIG welded on each of the for corners of the two-piece scope mounts. The stock is a sporter style with a cheekpiece, and a full re-shaping to achieve the final form, Barrel is a free-float and it's a stock Barrel. the Butt-stock is made from pieces of other stock parts as the wood all matches perfectly and many different pieces have been used to achieve the final shape and added strength, beautifully made, and every part fits with an almost invisible fitting line.
The single action is achieved by simply removing the mag, and the bottom of the stock stops the cartridge from dropping through, I can't describe it as anything more than that, no feed ramp or anything.
I will try and upload a picture if I can get bloody Microsoft to allow my Camera to download again. Thanks for any help, I paid $350 for it, I like single-shot rifles and straight pull or falling Block, so this was a steal.
