    Full L42A1 chest

I cannot remember seeing a L42A1 chest itself being sold, this one I had found even seems to be "full". Well, thought I should share, in case someone is looking to complete his rifle: https://www.proxibid.com/Guns-Milita...98089#topoflot

No, the scope seen in the 'contents' pic looks like a No. 42 (or poss. No. 53) scope. There's a few extra oddities in there too, e.g. the spare magazine isn't an L42 one, it's a No.4 one.

To his credit, the seller does admit that is a No. 42 Mk 1 telescope in this transit chest, but the "complete" CES it contains has elements that represent a bit of a put-together fantasy. Even so, somehow I suspect that will not stop it from selling for a crazy amount.
