LOL! Obviously great minds think alike! I had my P14 at the range today too. Not going to post the target pics because it definitely didn't like the 150 grain LeHighs I was feeding it today. Back to SMK's I guess.

Damned .303… I love it, but those broken cases make me mad. Very bad with the Smelly. A bit better with the no. 4 and much better with the P14. But still a PITA…
I’ll take a picture of a 90% broken case in my no. 4 a few weeks ago. Just a tad more and… game over.

One of those things, you simply have to carry a broken shell extractor.
That will guarantee that the next case sufficiently jams against the broken one and removes it for you. If you don't have the broken shell extractor handy, you'll never get lucky getting it out with the next round.

Sometimes, many have just fallen out by raising the muzzle. The broken case tool is a necessity.

I’ve been told that a few times, but it never happened to me.
That’s why I have the broken shell extractor.
But I happen to forget it sometimes…
