Need source for .45 ACP brass using small pistol primers
The title pretty much says it all. I know that Federal makes .45 ACP brass that uses small-pistol primers. Other manufacturers may as well, not sure. I've tried to purchase directly from Federal, but they are out of stock. I've looked at several on-line sellers, and either the size of primer is not mentioned, or it is listed as using large-pistol primers.
The only reason it matters is that I have a large quantity of small-pistol primers and would like to use them to reload for my 1911s. I had a quantity of the Federal brass that uses the small primers, but due to loss on the range, and overworking the brass thru resizing, I'm running low.
If anyone knows of a source, I'd certainly appreciate you sharing it. Thanks!

We were seeing Blazer ammo with SMP pockets. I had scads and didn't keep them, now I'm out. Here's a source of Federal... .45 ACP Small Primer Once Fired Brass | DiamondKBrass.com | 1000 ct.

All the "NT" (Non Toxic) stuff seems to be made with small primer pockets. The flash-hole is larger than one would expect. The primer pockets are also crimped, but the mighty Dillon 600 sorts that out rapidly.
If you have a local indoor range, see if they sell their once-fired brass.
Waste not; want not!
