Canadian Issue Remington 870

Wanting to confirm if the Canadian issue Remington 870 had government issue stamps or were unmarked. I've read conflicting information. Thanks, gerry

Based on the records that I have, and all my experiences with CAF 870Ps, they are unmarked. I believe a COTS purchase.

I was trained in the use of CAF 870 and shell crackers to scare birds away from runways. The few shotguns I saw were unmarked.

Thanks Kevin and Sapper740. I believe the same configuration of the 870 was also purchased by Transport Canada and Canadian Coast Guard, or, they may have also been transferred to those departments from the CAF. Thanks
