Presumably that is why he is taking "due diligence" and doing his research which is manifesting itself in the form of asking questions here and taking advantage of the vast, collective, knowledge.

Getting unfounded info from people on the internet is not research . I had a guy the shot at my range all the time and in all my matches . He had no idea what he was doing and was a joke . YET he wrote all kinds of internet " articles " and answered all kinds of questions . The end result is vast amounts of mis-information being spread by this .

Here is an example of real research . I also wondered about the 6.5mm machine gun round compared to the old rifle round . SO , I fired some of both for velocity and pressure readings .
