WWII Japanese type 92 Field phone. Batteries included!

I've seen a few of these Japaneseicon field phones come up for sale now and then but never one with its original batteries....until now. A guy I work with who knows I collect militaria saw this unit for sale at a Weatherford, Texas antique mall and took some pictures of it. It still has its Manshu Dry Cell Co. Ltd batteries installed.

Is it in the "need to sit down first before asking the price" price range?

It would be interesting to know if it is still in working order.

Let me ask my friend what the asking price is. Apparently the antique mall has lost its lease and everything has to go. It might sell for a reasonable price.
