WWII British Enfield No.4, Mk 1, CMP sniper match eligible

The Britishicon Enfield No.4, Mk 1 Savage has all matching and correct parts.

Manufactured by Savage Arms in 1942 under the WWII Lend Lease program. Receiver marked U.S. Property (Lend Lease).

All correct inspection stamps and cartouches, including FTR (Factory Thorough Repair) when the rifle was inspected after the war. All metal parts have the appropriate markings.

The magazine is marked S (Savage).

The stock is an original, with all the appropriate inspection stamps and inspector cartouche.

This Savage No.4 is in excellent near original condition, and functions perfectly.

The bore is like new, making it a very accurate as well as an excellent collection piece.

An original British web sling is included with the rifle (appease to be marked 1941?), plus an original buttstock cleaning kit, a Savage marked bayonet, scabbard and frog, and some spare parts. The rifle comes with a scope, rings, no-drill mount and cheek piece which is eligible for the CMPicon Sniper matches. Also included is the NRA British Enfield Riflesicon guide, Skennertonicon’s .303 Rifle No. 4, Skennerton’s .303 Rifle No.1, Stratton Enfield Rifles No.4 and No.5, and Remodeling the Lee-Enfield Rifle.

The rifle is C&R Eligible, and can be shipped to a C&R holder directly, as long as local law permits.

I ship to all the states, but prefer shipping to FFLs who take shipments directly from individuals. That saves an extra shipping fee.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping.
