    Jim Keenan

Does anyone what has happened to him? I always enjoyed reading his posts on the old Joustericon site. His knowledge of firearms was simply incredible. You could hardly bring up any question regarding guns or ammo without getting authoritative feedback from Jim.

On Thursday afternoon, Jim was in the gun store where I work. He looked as healthy as could be.

I assumed 'Jim K' was Keenan;Where is LarryMarine?

    Posts sounded like him.

I have seen his stuff on other gun sites under the name Jim Keenan. I think he is a former cop and lives in Maryland.

When newspapers reported that Mark Twain had died, he sent a telegram to one of them suggesting, "Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated".

I miss the old CSPicon crowd. Been visiting the Michigan local gun board lately. Had an extensive string about how to avoid unpopped kernels in microwave popcorn there today.

    Very informative.

Sorry, folks. For reasons of security, I decided to take advantage of the change of site to change the handle to "Jim K." Same guy, I think.

I don't post as much, though. This site is slow and if I may say so, rather depressing with its black and shades of gray. Somehow, it ain't the same, though I sure don't miss the spam.

Had me worried for a while there. When I grow up I want to be a well informed curmudgeon just like Jim.

Doing fine on the "curmudgeon" part; it's the "well informed" part that's giving me trouble...

I felt that way at first also, just didn't have the same atmosphere as old site, but after a little time it started to get a little more like the old site, now to me it's a lot like the old site people wise and that's what makes a site worth what it is,granted it don't have that "big open book" appearance and feel to it but for me all the other things make up for it.
