    1/35th scale ?

So I've started a 1/35th scale KV-1 and after slogging through 8 months building the AHHQ's 1/16th scale Tiger 1 it's tiny with just a few parts.
It is a 2005 model kit and a Trumpeter so the molding is not great with plenty of flash (extra plastic on parts) and rather flimsy plastic very thin.
Anyway I had to buy some Russianicon Green 1 to paint it as olive drab was not their colour so I tried colour modulation to show an aged piece of kit.

There is plenty more to do I am undecided if I want to build the plastic tracks as I've made one up almost just a few grousers to do then paint but the rubber tracks are an issue. They are presenting a unique problem never have I come across rubber that is impervious to CA glue even tried 2 types it just beads on the surface then the joint separates weird.
All the wheels front/rear idler/sprockets done as well as the return rollers are done painted etc just not fitted/weathered yet.

The next pit fall was the decals as there are only 2 on each side of the turret but they go over the gap on one side and bolt heads anyway they sorta look ok but it will have to do.
I'll post final pics when it is all weathered and finished should look ok then onto a 1\35th scale Panther by Meng.
