.22 m1917 or p14
Does anyone recall a thread and pics of either a Patt 17 or M1917 rifles that were converted to.22 ? I've done a few search's etc but never found anything. cant remember if it was here or on the .22 forum.

Thanks Georg, theres another thread somewhere, think it was Paul Bleaky who posted it ? part of the body was machined away were the bolt locking lug would lock, it was done to aid loading.

Several years ago I was able to determine that one of my .22 conversion Pattern '14 was done in India based on roundel markings on tghe buttstock flat.

Hey Paul, it would be highly appreciated if you were willing to do the work and re-upload the pictures to many of the threads that you have posted in the P.13/P.14/M1917 section here. Unfortunately the forum deleted a lot of them.

I have not saved a number of photos. Especiallly photos of items that could not be identified. e.g. the Indian .22 pattern 14. Currently taking new photographs are not high on my to do list.
