Spare parts for the scopes are no problem but the complete scopes require export licensing from BIS, U.S. Dept. of Commerce. Component parts are supposed to be lodged with Customs and Border Patrol/Census by a registered exporter prior to shipment with an AES ITN issued. Read my explanation above. The Biden administration has thrown a huge wrench into all BIS exports that goes into effect on 30 May. The process was streamlined starting during the Obama/Biden administration for everything except small arms and components and finalized during the Trump administration. DoC was actually a pleasure to work with for those short four years. Now it's been reversed causing huge hassles for buyers and sellers in the commercial sector. It's totally political and the goal is to destroy the firearms industry in the USAicon according to global anti-gun policies. Don't try to make sense of it because there isn't any. As a very small importer/exporter, it's not worth the heartache and hassle for me anymore.
