    Question 1903-A1 type C, new stock ?

"What we have here..... is a failure....... to communicate "

It would seem that I do not know what I have! I need to do more research and nail this thing down.
What I think I know is it is now a 1903-A1, since the original straight stock was sporterized and the new stock is a C type. The hitch is the new stock came with an A-3 hand guard. ( I feel like an IDIOT!)
So I will be either milling one or picking up an original .
Would anyone know where one might procure one?

    and the search goes on:
