Restoring the M1 Carbine

Hello fellow collectors I wanted to pass along some information you might find helpfull if you are planning on restoring your M1 Carbine. I have a friend who asked me to help him restore a carbine he purchased at a show a few months back. It was a 5 million Winchester import with poor finish and he wanted to put all the correct parts and have it refinished back to spec. After many months of looking for parts to complete it, I sent it to Pataskala Shooter Supply and they put a really nice ZINC finish on all the parts that looks really good.
