Please keep your untouched Winchester. I found a late Inland a few years ago that I'm sure is unmolested and it's my favorite carbine. I only fired one mag through it and then cleaned it up in detail. I wish it was a Winchester like you have, but I know it hasn't been messed with, the bore measures as new, original finish with very, very little wear.
(I LOVE the milling marks on the original hand guard)
- It's rare to find a hand guard and stock that's never been sanded at all.
