M3 Grease Gun magazines in the UK

As the title says does anyone know of a cheap supply in the UKicon, not worried too much about condition as long as there compete and operate etc and reasonably cheap, "The Gunner" has
some but not willing to pay £35...other web sites have them for £25

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Just as a reference, they run right around $50 in the US. Sometimes more. A GOOD buy here would be picking up good serviceable mags ( with finish wear, slight rust) for $35 US.

Thanks for that, I'm surprised at the price in the US, then again I suppose certain states the magazines do have a use rather than just display

    M3 accessories

Some accessories for the grease gun are starting to become difficult to find, the early magazine loader for the M3 and the plastic magazine cover are some examples. Finding magazine pouches that are marked for the M3 are also kind of rare.

I often heard the one flaw of the M3 design was the magazineAttachment 97777Attachment 97776Attachment 97775

I have to admit the the mags I'm after are not for an M3 but for something I'm working on as I needed .45 mags and chose them as the look very similar to the Sten mag but obviously bigger to take the .45.
I do have the M3 hand book I picked up at the War and Peace show, it details the wooden training aid, I've seen one somewhere in the past but where I don't remember.

Love to see after the re-configuration...even if you gotta PM me. Love a new idea, it gives me something to feed off during the dark season.

Straight pull, SA or FA? Suppressed? Still cool if not.

It wouldn’t be hard to do. But a Mk5 Sterling in .45 ACP seems better and even easier to do.

I’ve never really understood why Sterling didn’t go with .45 ACP for the Mk5. The Britishicon army had Thompsons in WW2. Ammo wasn’t an issue. It’s subsonic. Worked great in the De Lisle. Almost twice the bullet weight. That’s a lot more wallop for a round that’s moving at the same speed.

A copy of the Mk7 Sterling was made by P.A.W.S. in .45 ACP. It uses M3 mags.
