Its too funny to look at these old papers sometimes. $32.85 for a springfield? I would die if I could get one at that price today, literally.

Common wage was $1.00 per hour. Almost a week's pay. Not cheap then at all.

RIA just quoted the prices of both, only the '03 was purchased. The sales receipt I found when I removed the butt plate. It was folded up in an envelope, rolled in tinfoil and shoved in the lower hole of the stock.
