    nice rifle, price is ok, however, bolt is too early for the rifle, so likely its a replacement, as is the stock and the buttplate..
    i have its sister in my safe..mine has the correct bolt, stock, ect.

    Look at the link I provided. It shows the star gauge mark on the crown and the letter/number stamp on the barrel.

    star gauged barrels.
    marked just ahead of the rear sight base, C89752/B135422 ect.
    then some, but not all were stamped with a star at 6:00 on the muzzle.
    iv seen some genuine NRA sporters, and a couple USMC NM rifles sans the muzzle stamp.
    they all had the letter number stamp on the barrel..all were issues with a gauge paper as well, most are missing, some can be found in the butt trap, or kept by the shooter owner of the rifle.
    iv only seen a few rifles with the stargauged paper as well.
    i own 5 star gauged rifles, not lucky enough to get the paper:{

    couple notes on the rifle.
    bolt is a restamped J5, and NOT a real NS.
    barrel is too late for the reciever, and not original to the rifle.
    at best a nice parts gun..
