    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.  Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.     Didn't you have a long faced Type IA Rock ola mag catch on this one when you bought it?
    It's very possible that could have been found on this later Rock.

    It could be, but all the other ones I have seen have a type II. I suspect the one I have too. The B and R look a little wierd to me. What do you guys think?

    I seen the pics of the tab, those along with the letter markings makes me want to say real.
    I don't have a Type IA RMC to compare it to.
    Only own 1 Type IIA marked A-R
