Mr cgroc09, I would think all three digit Winchesters that are around - are restorations - unless you know of any originals ?
Known serials 209, 312, 319, 432, 434, 437, 569, 691, 790 & 931. If you know of any others, please add them to this list
Thanks RCS

I had WRA 185 besides 434 and Tony G has 435 & 436.
790 sold at my home for $15,000 last month after I verified it. It looked pretty nice and had one of the best RS markings I have seen besides one you have. There are a few more I forget at the moment but I think the total is around 40 found so far for the Educational's. Rick B

I'd love to have one of those under my nose for a few minutes. It would truly be "educational" in more ways than one.

more photos
Some additional photos of WRA 100931. Years ago serial number 100047 was found in NJ but my friend was unable to see the rifle.

I realize you are discussing "3 digit" numbers in this thread but how about 001. There is an article in Vol. 10 Number 1 ( Winter 1995) edition of the GCA Journal (Newsletter) about how number 001 ended up in the collection of Larry Kaufman.
