"Suggestions to Military Riflemen" by T. Whelen
When Townsend Whelen was a junior officer he was not impressed with US Army marksmanship training. So in 1909 he wrote his own training manual.
The book is reproduced on Google Books and can be read online, downloaded in .pdf or to an e-book.
Looks real interesting. Covers the M1903, ammunition, maintenance, shooting technique, sight adjustment, coaching....etc.
Badger - might be worth adding to the permanent M1903 library.

“...successful rifle shooting on the range is nothing more than first finding a rifle and lot of ammunition which will do precisely the same thing shot after shot, and then developing the same skill in the rifleman.” ~ E. C. Crossman
