    This Carbine sold for $19,550. Cheap compared to a Garandicon T3E2 prototype that went for,,,,,,$172,500.

    Fascinating - didn't know about that one. I think anyone can see why they took the Winchester over the Bendix-Hyde for the military although it would make an interesting commercial carbine. I would have liked it with the pistol grip as it seems to have a bit of Thompson to it.
