Just got my first Garand from CMP(low serial #)

Just joined the site and wanted to show my first Garands I have owned. Was very pleased to see a low serial number in the 2xx,xxx's. All shoot well. Glad I got my oder in before they quit accepting them this go round.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. 2 more Garands. Both springfields with a 1,77x,xxx and a 3,3xx,xxx numbers. Look about like the other one. However one did have some small pieces of wood with white tape on them saying it was cleaned on certian dates along with U.S.iconM.C. shoved in the cleaning rod holes. This one has a Rock Island refurb mark on the stock and one of the others had a R.R.I stanped on it.
