    Reproduction Shtle MkI Backsight Protector

Is there currently anyone making reproduction SMLE/Shtle Mk I Backsight Protectors which are available?

I saw some for sale on ebay out of Finlandicon of all places a while back.
I have one reproduction example I picked up with no markings of any kind on it but now that Prestigious Wood Stocks has reproduced the Mk I Rear Hand Guard I wanted to find out what's out there in the market.

Also is anyone reproducing the Top Backsight Protector Screw and Side Backsight Protector Screw so it is possible to assemble a complete hand guard?

You may want to try this place:

    WW1 1914 -1918 (An ANZAC Perspective)

I stumbled onto this site one day, and found the Mk I* rear protector buried under a "WW1" tab. I have not ordered anything from this company, and had no dealings with them.

    Best of luck!

VMA leather claims to include the repro rear sight protector with their stock set. I haven't received the stock yet so I can't confirm whether or not it's included.

    Interesting, so that's one source.
BVZ24 are you ordering one of their stocks in?
Looks nice, I'd be interested in how it compares to say the Prestigious Wood Stocks Mk I wood.

I am ordering a stock in. It just hit US shores yesterday, so I might start fitting sometime this week I hope.
Never ordered from prestigious, but I notice a lot of repro stocks are too small in the trigger guard area.
