the CMP garand field grade springfield ('42 barrel) groups about 4" with korean cmp ammo.
the bm59 does about 2.5" with milsurp 308.
..
shooting 200 yard offhand, i couldn't see much difference between the rifles. somewhere around 10" groups for both, which is okay with me. no match ammo, no bedding or a lot of practice with these guns.
