Ishapore screw
Can I be a newby for a second and ask what the ishy screw was for? Was it a reinforce to prevent any tendency for splitting forward of the main screw, (which is a little odd considering how uncommon that actually is) or was it to stabilize the forend as an accuracy aid, or ...?
thanks

Hi Roger ...
You might want to try our Google CSE custom search engine located in the top right corner below the words "Advanced Search". It only searches our site using Google techniques and can be quite efficient. For example, in your case, type in the words ishapore screw and see what happens ..
I only had a quick look, so I'm not sure what the exact content is about, however, here's just a few threads which turned up turned up.
